This place sounds, smells and talks of only freshly baked bagels! The better part that it is open for your Sunday brunches too! Being a vegetarian, if I am not happy with the basics they are happy to do modifications to their Bagels combo's. I love brunching here with a group of friends and collecting a handful of beautiful laid flavoured cups and their picture :) The after eight is my new favourite mint capp. Their outside painted facade is retro ....diversity of coffee drinks, so you will find something delicious no matter what you prefer.

LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN
The organic baker pioneers, apart from their artisanal breads also fascinates with how they serve that cuppa whether its that sumptious cappuccino or hot choclate, its pure love. their large cup is truly elaborate. No hidden fact that LPQ is spread all over the world, but interestingly hails from Belgium founded by then young chef in Brussels. Their pastries, quiches, tartines are super nomnom goals in their light, wooden raw spaces but what adds to this particular location in heart of the city (next to theaterplein), is the ethralling interior. Reflecting on Antwerpen history with those sailors, ships pictorials and installations. On a rainy day don't forget to stare over the rooftop glass.
Simple and cosy, yet the wooden feel surrounds you. Great tartines (yes the name says it all), with few vegetarian oriented options. perfect location, well-made drinks . There are varieties of teas to choose from, while for non-caffeineeds some soda, some beers, wine and bubbles. Really liked the homemade lemonade with cucumber and lime. The cakes looked great too. Next to meir.
Eat the tartines ;)
Istanbul nights (it's a tea!)
In the new zuid - that part which connects to the city and looks on the Scheldt. Not sure which location would you be driving from, but this area is filled with architectural sights with contemporary and heritage fusions. There are fulfilling places in and around. This is special to do for the parents - you will love it as your kids surely will : they can play in the park across the street or in the play corner inside while you enjoy the cup and or that brunch on the terrace overlooking the greens. This one has a away from city feel factor.

out of the city feeler
I like how their tagline reads 'Fake your birthday treat yourself'. With two outlets in and close to old town, they are doing so well with their bagels. My Sunday brunch special is the 'Avocado' as they call it, super filled all the goodness that I often find it difficult to even hold it together! Some interesting blend in coffee, their names say about their creative stunts ; they read 'dark delights, harmony or that tropical evening ;) if not try the teas/smoothies and more! Their beans are organic and sourced internationally with articulation and they say : their mantra : Coffee. bagels and more! You find them all over Netherlands too.
avocado bagel - a must !
right in the old town
Became a norm to sip my cappuccino in those beautiful cups with a pie - some days is all that you need. Their tarts/pies are goals. An escape from that hectic schedule to work in peace or an ideal setting to meet up with a friend. Yummylicious. They do variations with homemade lemonades, ice teas and those nice popsicles during summers. Its cute, cosy and has an open garden terrace on those nice days. Matcha breaks here are also super good.
Talk pretty coffee. Talk bagels. Located in the fashion district and is the perfect break when walking or shopping between the trendy Antwerp Zuid (South) and the historic city center. I often go to this one for a Sunday Bagel'brunch. Be rest assured, they give you plenty choices for a picture perfect coffee momens. Their terrace is placed on a recently renovated square with colorful parasols, feels like a garden outreaching to the city. The trendy decor and atmosphere that make all the difference. Next to the Museum of fashion.
the colours are everything
Yet to sit and drink a cup here. This café project by Cuperus, is an extension to beans that are roasted and provided by Cuperus. (maybe) good to know is that you can do a grocery break while it sits next to the biggest Albert Heijn of Belgium.

Went there once to sip a cup while I complete my day's work commitments (being your own boss is beneficial for these specific reasons) but no pics yet. Have to go there another time to explore more.
